About eyelid surgery
Upper blepharoplasty removes excess skin and sometimes fat that hoods the upper lid, restoring a visible eyelid crease. Lower blepharoplasty addresses under-eye bags by removing or repositioning fat, often through a hidden incision inside the lid (transconjunctival), and may be combined with skin tightening or fat grafting. Some upper-lid cases are functional (visual-field obstruction) and insurance-eligible.
