About chin augmentation
Chin augmentation improves projection and definition of the chin, either with a silicone implant placed through a small incision under the chin or inside the lower lip, or with a sliding genioplasty that advances the chin bone itself. It is often planned together with rhinoplasty (profileplasty) or neck contouring.
